Agent Skill

OpenClaw Notcrawl
Researches locally archived Notion pages and databases before using live Notion APIs.
What is OpenClaw Notcrawl?
Notcrawl gives OpenClaw a disciplined path for querying Notion knowledge without treating a live workspace API as the first or only source. The skill checks archive freshness, searches pages and databases, inspects Markdown exports, and uses read-only SQL for exact inventory questions. Results are reported with workspace, teamspace, page, database, and absolute-date context, while live synchronization remains an explicit action that requires a Notion token.
Key capabilities
Local knowledge search
Searches archived Notion content before requesting live workspace access.
Page and database context
Keeps source titles, teamspaces, date spans, and known gaps attached to the answer.
Controlled synchronization
Refreshes the archive only when stale or explicitly requested.
Use cases
Internal documentation research
Find project specifications, meeting notes, and policy pages from an indexed archive.
Database inventory
List archived databases and calculate exact counts with read-only SQL.
Markdown evidence
Inspect exported page content without requiring a live Notion session.
Compatibility
- OpenClaw with Skill installation support
- The notcrawl CLI and a local Notion archive
- NOTION_TOKEN only when API synchronization is required
